Synopsis: The film is based on the KBS documentary program, “”Old Bachelors go to Uzbekistan to Marry.”” The story is about a couple of old farmers who are past marrying age who go to Uzbekistan to meet their good matches. Through the film, Hwang Byeong-guk, the director, discusses the real meaning of love and marriage. The bachelors’ innocence and sorrow leaves an impression on the audience, most of whom are smiling broadly by the film’s conclusion.
