Synopsis: Based on a true story about a baseball player underdog that changed the history of a second-rate Pro-Baseball team forever. This tale transports the viewers back to the important year of 1982 that saw the official launch of the Pro-Baseball League in Korea. The Sammi Superstars are the worst team of the entire league until they decide to hire seemingly good-for-nothing pitcher Gam Sa-yong. On a fateful day the Sammi Superstars have to face the league’s elite team, the OB Bears, the holders of a winning streak that has already lasted for 20 consecutive games all due to its top player Ace Park. While all other Sammi Superstars pitchers back down in fear, Sa-yong takes charge longing to show the other team what Mr. Gam’s Victory is all about.
